AMASTEEL Shot is actually a sphere-shaped form of steel casting.Grit is made by crushing the fully hardened shot, screening the resulting media and tempering it to a desired hardness.Amamix Steel abrasive is a combination of Steel shot and grit, mixed for specific requirements, and supplied as a single product. FERROBLAST replaces Iron with a very similar cost per tonne, but gives a far superior standard of finishing.AMACAST premium stainless steel shotAMACUT has been developed for use in gang saws where a good performance is demanded when cutting predominantly medium or soft stones.Excalibur is the result of a development programme by Ervin Amasteel to produce the ultimate stone sawing abrasive.Heavy Aggregate Systems for Civil, Structural, Marine, Automotive and Transport IndustriesFor imparting compressive strength to torque or load bearing metal parts.FERROCUT has been specifically developed for use when cutting predominantly softer stones

Shot peening is a cold working process used to increase the fatigue life of metal parts and is accomplished by pelting the surface of a metal part with round metallic shot thrown at relatively high velocity.

Each shot acts as a tiny peen hammer, imparting to the surface small concave indentation in the surface of the metal or dimple.
